Coogs end season on sour note
Houston looked poised to finish strong. The Cougars had the game all but won. They led by 20 with just 12 minutes left to play. That's when Saint Louis stepped up the intensity with a full-court press, and when the smoke had cleared the Cougars found themselves on the wrong side of a 72-69 loss in overtime.

UH can't keep Tiger offense caged
The Cougars didn't need excuses, they just needed some pitching.
Facing its sixth consecutive top-25 opponent, Houston couldn't hold back No. 1 Louisiana State's offense, losing two of three games this weekend including an 8-2 loss in the rubber game Sunday at Alex Box Field.

UH falls to No. 5 OU in 3-game set
If an actual victory means little, you can guess how much Kyla Holas values a moral one. In Holas' oral review of the UH softball team's 2-1 win over Oklahoma (18-4-1), the head coach didn't use a lovely floral arrangement of vocabulary or commission a choral composition to describe her team's triumph over the No. 5 team in the country.
